Strengthen your relationship with your child.
Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) is a structured 10-week program that helps parents respond to behavior with greater confidence, understand their child more deeply, and create more connection at home.
PARENT COACHING THROUGH PLAY
You don’t need another list of parenting tips.
In CPRT, you become the healing person in your child’s life. You’ll learn therapeutic play skills, practice special playtimes at home, and receive support and feedback along the way.
-
You’ll learn how to follow your child’s lead, reflect feelings, encourage, and set limits with warmth and consistency.
-
You’ll record a weekly 30-minute special playtime with your child using a carefully selected set of toys and the skills you are learning.
-
We’ll review your playtime, celebrate what is working, and gently adjust the skills so they become more natural in everyday family life!
How CPRT works
Skills that reach beyond the playroom
Understand what behavior is communicating
Begin noticing the feelings and needs beneath reactions that once seemed confusing or unpredictable.
Respond to big emotions with confidence
Stay connected and steady without dismissing feelings or giving up necessary boundaries.
Set limits without constant power struggles
Use clear, consistent language that helps your child feel safe while learning responsibility.
Build your child’s confidence and independence
Encourage problem-solving and inner confidence instead of stepping in with every answer.
